How Much Do We Charge?

As your business sees the value and starts considering the use of video, you’re probably wondering how much it will cost you.

In this article, I will discuss how we at Fitzmedia price our services. Unfortunately, I can’t give an exact price due to various factors. But what I will do is explain our process of pricing while also giving a range of what it might cost for you.

Pricing the Client

Firstly though, you might ask why prices vary by client. Simply put, each business has different goals they want to achieve, and since we use video strategy to help accomplish those goals, we charge accordingly.

For example, if a business has a goal of increasing revenue by $100,000 while another business has the goal of increasing revenue by $1,000,000, even if the deliverables might be the same, the pricing could vary.

A great starting point we use to determine price is charging 10% of the projected value.

We also understand though that it’s not always as simple as having a monetary goal. You might want to find qualified talent or just increase overall awareness, goals that you can’t exactly attach a dollar amount to.

That’s why we have a discovery meeting and discuss what we’re wanting to accomplish through video strategy, we’ll consider various factors and come up with a price that we feel is fair for both parties. Then it is up to you, as the buyer, to determine if it’s worth spending that amount to accomplish your goal.

The Cost of Video-Strategy

A video strategy can start as low as $10,000 and clients usually go with a plan that's $25,000 - $50,000 on average to see a high return on their investment.

This usually includes multiple pieces of content because we understand for video to be most effective, most times it needs to be accompanied by other videos. That’s why we develop strategies.

Sometimes those prices are hard numbers to be charged at once. That’s why also offer monthly financing.

Though that might seem overboard just for a few videos, and if you view it that way then I’d probably agree with you. But we don’t want to sell videos, we want to sell solutions. And if that solution solves your problem, then the price should be well worth it.

“We Just Want a Video!”

I get it, I get it, some businesses truly just want a video. You might already have a strategy in place or just want a video for the sake of having one.

Our passion is making videos, and though it’s not the way we prefer, we still would love the privilege of producing video for your business even if you don’t want a strategy.

If no strategy is involved, then the pricing changes.

Though again, it may vary due to certain variables such as the cost to produce the video, we charge a minimum of $2,000 for a single video. Yet, if you need multiple, the price per video could be even less.

Do You Really Want Video?

As mentioned, we prefer to use video strategy, not because we can profit more, but because we want our videos to accomplish something.

The fear of not using strategy, whether through us or some other source is the ROI. It becomes more of an expense rather than an investment. This isn’t exactly a bad thing, it all depends on what your goals are.

And though businesses approach us saying they want video, a lot of times in reality, what they want is a solution to their problem.

So as you continue your search to find the right company to produce your video. Instead of the price being your main fain focus, be sure to ask yourself, “can this company use video to help me reach my goals?”

Because at the end of the day, isn’t that what really matters?
